How to install Springwell water system?

The Carbon Tank Head Installation

Usually, the tank head is placed first. A tank head and a carbon filter are required. These can be done remotely. Remove the CO2 tank cap. Find the tank’s head. The tank’s top has a pipe that must be aligned with the tank’s entrance.

Adjust the tank head to the tank and press it in place. Tighten the tank head using a screwdriver.

Pre-soaking the Water Filtration System Tank

The carbon must be soaked in the tank for at least 48 hours before use. These parts will be needed: a set of bypass valves, an empty carbon tank, the two MNPT fittings, an outdoor faucet, and an accessory kit. The bypass valve should be attached to the tank head. The valves’ fasteners need to be tightened.

Attach the MNPT fittings to each bypass valve connection. To allow water to flow through the system, you must turn off the bypass valve and connect a lawn hose pipe connected with a hose bib to the pipe (inlet).

Flushing the carbon tank

To flush the tank, you’ll need a hose bib installation, a carbon tank, and a yard hose. Connect the water hose and hose bib assembly to the tank’s inlet. Turn off the bypass switch. Presoaking will cause some of the water to leak out. Using water to flush it out is the most common method. Please be mindful that the water will initially seem to be a dark shade of brown. For the next 5 minutes, it should become evident.

Flush in the opposite direction as well. Allow water to flow for five minutes after flipping your hose bib and water hose. Disconnect the pipe and fittings. Make sure you zip up the jacket gradually before putting it on the tank top.

Sediment Filter Installation

For the installation, you’ll need a drill bit and three PVC Nipples, each measuring 1 inch (3 centimetres). An intake and an outlet are provided on the sediment filter housing. The PVC nipples should be attached to both inlets. The plumber’s tape should be used to seal the gap.

Install the sediment filter so that the carbon tank is in line with it. Affix the mounting rack to the wall with a 3′′ drill bit. Before installing the sediment filter with bolts, make sure the inlet and outlet are in the correct position.

Water Filtration Tanks for the Whole Home

Carbon tanks should be placed directly in front of the sediment filter. Whenever possible, wires and connections should be oriented in the reverse direction. Connect the corrugated pipes to the carbon tank’s shut-off valve inlet. The carbon tank’s output must be connected in the same way as the carbon tank’s inlet.

The corrugated pipe from the carbon tank to the sediment tank’s nook should be attached in the similar way. Connect a second corrugated pipe from the sediment tank outlet to the home water line from the opposite side of the tank. To avoid leaks, be sure that all of your connections are snugly fastened.
